Look at this calculator converter - vitamins A, E, D are all different results of measure yet it uses the same name of "international units". I am suspecting that vitamin D and E are so miniscule that the idea of getting sunlight that then makes your body create it out of thin air is absurd as the stuff floats around in the air and we breathe it in. That is said about vitamin C being dose low where USDA recommends 60 mg per day and many people dose as high as 500 mg per day as high as 3,000 mg per day = 3 grams. It takes 456 grams to make a pound. Vitamin C is also what is called ascorbic acid but that is like also referring to a car stuck in traffic as a car that is stuck in a swamp, they are two different things even though they are the same car. Maybe we should call vitamins healing abilities. An orange has healing ability but does 1/2 a gram of vitamin C also known as highly processed ascorbic acid have healing ability after all we are comparing apples to oranges or more like CHEMICALS to oranges.

Wyler suggests "Increasing the RDA to more realistic levels (1,500–2,000 IU/day for most adults)." So if we went with 2,000 IU a day that would be 1/5th and take that 250 milligram conversion number down to 50 milligrams like vitamin C which is 5/100th grams which is 1/20th gram. One 20th of one gram is so small it is laughable. That is 1/20th of 1/4 of a teaspoon of sugar (1/20th of a gram).

All the talk about vitamin D, A, and E is nonsense. Those vitamin PILLS that we are familiar with barely have anything but FILLER. You can be inside with no sun for years and you are exposed to these sufficiently in your foods and in the air. Eskimos barely see or are exposed to any sun on their skin in winter. In fact it is not even absolutely proven that vitamin D and others actually are real. They are theories. These chemical formulas are not the same as what goes on in the living being with foods. We can again make the case that ISOLATING a vitamin is changing the whole dynamic and does not represent anything valid.
